The General Chemistry covers the entire, non-specialized chemistry and therefore the basics of chemistry, which are in all areas of importance.

This basic knowledge of chemistry covers a range of topics including: atomic theory and atomic structure including the electron shell and chemical bond; knowledge of the chemical elements, the periodic table, the setting up of chemical formulas and chemical equations, including the relevant stoichiometry; fundamentals of chemical reactions and reaction types, such as the acid-base concept, redox reactions, pH value, etc . - but also  thermodynamics, kinetics and quantum chemistry and many more.
