Qualifications/Requirements:
This position requires the following: - PhD in Analytical Chemistry with atleast 3 years post-graduate experience; Masters with >5 years’ experience can also apply. - Demonstrated experience in the application of ICP-AES, ICP-MS and XRF for the quantitative analysis of metals in a variety of materials (metallurgical alloys, ceramics, oils, environmental, biological). - Demonstrated experience in digestions of both organic and inorganic materials using microwave sample preparation is required. - Familiarity with Ion Chromatography - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
Desired Characteristics
Experience with HPLC and GC instrumentation will be an advantage. Statistical analysis skills will be an advantage
